I just want to know what it will it take for Bama to be back in the top 25 in bball. We only lost 2 games in the SEC and we're projected to win all of ours except 2 (UF and Ole Miss) I just wanna know what will it take for us to be nationally prominent again.

The losses to Mercer and Tulane have banned Alabama from the top 25 for the 2012-2013 season.

We aren't a top 25 team. We looked completely disoriented tonight. Happy we could grind out a win but I hoped we would be further along at this point. We need more offense. Without it we won't go far.

Team's gotta learn to close out games.Seems like in most games we lost we have a 10 point lead at one point in the game then end up blowing it in the last 10 minutes.
Even in most of the games we win we blow 10 or 15 point leads and end up winning by 1 or 2.

If this Alabama team is top 25, then college BB is in a very sad state. I'm not sure they're even NIT quality, much less top 25.

From a nuetral corner...Bama didnt look like a top 40 team against Arkansas...simple isnt it? I think Bama will end up with NCAA bid though if they dont implode.

Except for the preseason polls, expectations regarding future opponents don't really factor into rankings.

I don't think National prominence is the right term for Alabama basketball, even when it is good. however, to answer your question, when they can put a competent and consistence offense together they will win enough games to keep their coach and get Bama fans excited. Only to flame out come tournament time. That is who Bama has become.
As an Auburn fan, I would be ecstatic to climb to that level.

Alabama is a borderline top 50 team, maybe. Top 25 is laughable. Just sneaking into the tournament and pulling one upset would be a huge success for this team. Lots of holes.
