What's the word on y'all's end regarding Reed? He's scheduled to visit Ole Miss this weekend.

Some say he's a definite take if we can flip him. Some say he's a back-up if we miss on some other DL targets (Vanderdoes, Robinson, Poggi). It'll all come out in the wash next Wednesday.

I figure if he shows up on his OV he's ours. If he doesn't he's y'all's.

Reed may be listed as a 3 star but he's a monster... He's got 3 to play 2 too... I really hope Saban doesn't flip him.

I think if we land A'Shawn Robinson, 5-star OL/DL from Texas, then we pass on Reed. I would like to land both TBH, but spots are limited in our class.
And for the asshat that said "poor Bama has to steal our 3-star recruits," Reed is a high 4-star on 247. DWI.

We're only signing 2. The third one - Del Rio - is coming as a walk-on.
My bigger question is why we're signing 4 RBs, when there are 2 of the best in the country in the state of Alabama for next year's class - Scarbrough and Thomas.

I believe that if we had known about Luke Del Rio walking on, we wouldn't have offered McLeod.
Just kinda got stuck with him. Not that he's a bad player, but he isn't worth a scholarship when a higher rated QB is walking on to the team and is already on campus.
