Took up for Barbee before the season (and at the beginning of the season) when a lot of folks were killing him, but my patience is running VERY thin now. Barbee's system is supposed to be this up-tempo, dribble-drive attack, and we haven't seen it in three years! Where the frick is it? We've got scorers that don't score, shooters that we don't get shots for, and a full-court press that we look like we've never practiced before.
I don't get it. Barbee deserves another year, but if we don't go at least .500 in the conference next year, I wouldn't mind seeing him go. So tired of this crap.
And I'm tired of always saying "next year" with this team before February even gets here.

Screw that.
We can be a decent team in basketball. We can (and Barbee already has) can recruit a hotbed like Georgia, and we have a brand new arena. We can get players, and we can win some games here. It's ridiculous to put out this kind of product every single year.
We won't ever be a basketball school, but I'll always care about it. We should be able to make the NIT every year with an NCAA bid every few years. That shouldn't ever be too much to ask.

This is the guy's third year. We should be turning it around by now.

This. Basketball isn't like football. all it takes are a few good recruits and you can field a decent basketball team. this team has gone downhill since an ARKY game that we should've won. i still can't fathom our woes at free throw shooting, which has lost us some games this year.

Honestly, I just don't want to keep this revolving door of bball coaches going.
Barbee's changing the culture. He may be doing a shitty job of changing the play on the court, but we're getting there

How did we get so freaking good at missing wide open shots?

Yep, we got uk, mizzou x2, florida, tennessee, bammer x2, ole miss.. If we lose out barbee should be shown the door
