If I were him I'd be at Berkely in a heartbeat. Absolute perfect situation for him. Regardless, I wish him the best...he was a good sport.

I would pick Cal over Waco or Lubbock as well but not for the chicks. Berkeley isn't exactly a hang out for hotties, it's a hang out for hippie liberals and geeks. Culturally I don't think you could get much different than Cal and A&M as well. They freaking hate the military at Berkeley and take pride in it.

Cal's liberalness is way overblown...it's mostly just nerds. Both A&M and Cal have great engineering programs. We're more alike than you'd like to admit.

Not sure why this is a general board topic, as he is not transferring to an SEC school.
ASU is the choice I'd take. How I don't know, but no where beats the women at those two AZ universities!! And the weather ain't half bad either.

Cal isnt a USC or UCLA, but its better than Lubbock. They might throw tortillas but there isnt a great assortment of Pink Taco. There just isnt. Baylor is Baylor. I wouldnt go anywhere near that loser place. ASU has Cal beat out for chicks, but if you combine what system is probably tailor-made for him the choice is Cal.

I'm just talking about the women at Cal, it's a fantastic school it just has a lot of unattractive women. Berkeley is at least near SF and you can head to the beach or the mountains from there easily as well. Cal would be my first choice if I were him because a Grad degree from Cal has some serious punch.
Of course it is better than Baylor. Baylor has some good looking chicks that are sheltered little Daddy's girls but the typical Baylor guy just reminds me of this dude:

There are nearly 36k people at Cal, about half of which are women. If you can't find hot girls at a school that big to party with you are probably an ugly fat turd yourself.
