This doesn't include seniors who graduated/left/retired

2012 Juniors

73-Rhontae Scales: graduated
76-Luke Joeckel: NFL Draft
94-Damontre Moore: NFL Draft

2012 Sophomores

3-Jameill Showers: Transferring (school TBD)

2012 Freshmen

8-Thomas Johnson: Left team/withdrew from school
98-Shayvion Hatten: Transferred (Stephen F. Austin)

Anyone else have any info? (I'll update based on further posts)

This is intended for us to analyze how we fall in terms of the 85-man scholarship limit.

The status of the following players is unknown (whether they will play/contribute or leave):

2012 Juniors

9-Nate Askew
23-Domonique Patterson
30-Johntel Franklin
42-Kirby Ennis (Pending the fallout from his arrest)

2012 Sophomores

25-Clay Honeycutt
40-Shaun Ward
78-Garrett Gramling

2012 Freshmen

26-Devonta Burns

Before I clicked on this thread, I thought the thread was going to be basketball-related.

I thought that someone else on the team was arrested along with Richmond. I take it that this player (Kenneth Marshall, I believe) has done what is necessary to be in Coach Sumlin's good graces.

The thing with Richmond and Marshall, from what little I know...is that it was not the first consecutive incident with Richmond.

I was listening to "Texags Radio" driving around town this morning. They said that Jameill Showers is trying to finish up his degree so he can have two years of eligibility somewhere else.

Until it's official, I'm not adding it.

But you added Jordan Richmond even though you don't have anything official on him?

Pretty much every other site has reported that he's off the team this spring due to multiple incidents.

And pretty much everyone is saying that Showers will graduate early and transfer.

Most signs are pointing to Baylor. He doesn't have to have a destination planed out yet cause he hasn't gotten his degree but everyone who is following it is thinking Baylor with Tech as an outside shot.

It is really the best move for him to move to a place where he can start and be able to sling it and show off his arm.

Agreed. I just didn't know that he'd officially left yet.

No, he hasn't you are correct there but you wouldn't be putting much at risk if you put your money on it. Same as with Richmond.

He has to graduate in order to not have to sit for a year. Nothing official will come out till that happens.

He was actually with the team when they were recognized at the basketball game a few games back. Supposedly he really loves the team and the school and is enjoying himself but all signs point to him moving on as a business decision.

He has an NFL arm but he has no shot if he stays.

I'd rather see him at Tech than Baylor. With that said, Baylor makes the most sense for him.

I would LOVE to see Showers at Cal. In a Sonny Dykes offense? Are you kidding me?

Showers could make a lot of offensive coordinators look really good. I hope he lands in the right spot for him. I wish him well.

Kirby's got a lot of equity built up. Doubt he gets the boot.
