at Mississippi State - win 3-4 (if we lose this game we won't win another game this season) - Correct: 55-49 Overtime

Kentucky - blowout loss 3-5 - 68-71 (OT) Not a blowout, but still a loss

Missouri - blowout loss - blew a 15 point lead but Missouri out Kennedy'd Kennedy: 70-68 win 4-5

at Georgia - loss 4-6 (if we can't beat them at Reed, we won't win in Athens) - COMPLETELY RIGHT

Ole Miss - 7+ point loss, Aggie Bipolar Disorder shows up again - win 69-67 5-6

at Vanderbilt - loss 5-7 (2nd half collapse) - Called it 56-63 loss

at Auburn - win 6-7 (Auburn finds a way to choke): 65-56 win - NAILED IT

Tennessee - loss 6-8 (2nd half collapse): 4OT loss 85-92

at Ole Miss - 6-9 blowout loss: 73-82 loss

South Carolina - loss 6-10 (Frank Martin > Billy Kennedy) - Big win

LSU - loss 7-10 (another 2nd half collapse) - Absolutely correct

at Arkansas - win 8-10 (Watkins curse) Kennedy managed to end the Watking curse: LOSS

SEC Tournament play-in game vs. Auburn - LOSS

7-11 in conference, looking at 17-15 overall. NOT an improvement when you compare the 2012 Big 12 to the 2013 SEC, and probably not good enough for the NIT.

yeah, they gettin' worse.

the more i think about it though, even if they did finish the season with a losing record, i don't see them firing him. i think he gets a third year no matter what.

Unfortunately, I am starting to feel the same way. What I hope happens is that he finally realizes that he's in over his head, uses his medical condition as leverage to get a decent settlement and takes a lesser role within the athletic department.

at Mississippi State - win (obvious)
Kentucky - win (didn't lose there, not going to lose at home)
Missouri - big loss
at Georgia - win (fluke loss at home)
Ole Miss - big loss
at Vanderbilt - easy win
at Auburn - tough game, but close win
Tennessee - big win
at Ole Miss - big loss
South Carolina - big win
LSU - revenge win, gave them the game the first time
at Arkansas - win

9-3, make the NIT

The only reason we didn't lose to Kentucky was because Turner had a 40 point game. That's probably not going to happen again and Kentucky has more talent and infinitely better coaching than we do. They win.

Some of us have been cured of our BAS.

BAS only really applies to football. What we're seeing is a continuation of the Barone/Watkins years after a 6-year break.

Likely won't be the first one you whiff on this season.

I fully expect a blowout loss at the hands of our Yankee brethren. I don't believe A&M will be able to keep pace with the Tigers.

At this juncture I just want to see the team keep battling like they did against UK tonight. I can't ask for much more than that. They are so deficient on offense that they have to play defense like they have the past 2 games to even give themselves a chance.

Wrong, wrong, and wrong. Whether by blowout or in overtime, a loss is still a loss.

quote:

at Vanderbilt - easy win

Clearly you don't watch basketball if you think Vanderbilt is an easy win when we can't win at Georgia, LSU, or Alabama. Vanderbilt CRUSHED Arkansas in Nashville.

quote:

at Auburn - tough game, but close win

Beat Alabama by 8. More like close loss

quote:

Tennessee - big win

Tennessee is about to pass us in the Pomeroy ratings and just beat a team with a far better coach on the road. I'm thinking LOSS

quote:

South Carolina - big win

Possible. They proved almost as inept on the road as we have and they lost to Mississippi State. However, they have Frank Martin. We have Billy Kennedy

quote:

LSU - revenge win, gave them the game the first time

If we can't beat GEORGIA at home...

quote:

at Arkansas - win

ONLY because of the Watkins curse

quote:

9-3, make the NIT

You've already failed horribly with your last 12 prediction, as we lost two of the games you had marked down as wins. In fact, we're FAR more likely to only have 1 more win than we are to have SEVEN more.

Kennedy is quite literally the Tommy Tuberville of basketball. He can occasionally upset good teams but can't cope with the game to game grind of conference play.

Actually, he's the Mike Sherman of basketball. Decent recruiter, good guy, mediocre gameday coach who usually manages to have his team fall apart in the second half, often blowing double-digit leads in the process.

I'm pretty sure Kennedy never had a season equivalent to Auburn 2004.

OT loss does not equal blow loss, wrong

Lol you still have to throw in some excuse, you were dead wrong on this one

Ole Miss - 7+ point loss, Aggie Bipolar Disorder shows up again - win 69-67 5-6

Again, an excuse. Can't give credit where credit was due, wrong.

I picked a loss. You picked a win because "we beat them in Rupp".

Remind me again who was dead-arse wrong?

Considering that the only ones I got wrong you got wrong as well...
