Yep, there are some fundamental problems at texas university. Any smart, self-preserving coach would've already left.

Don't get me wrong. If I was a recruit in the State of Texas I would love playing at UT. They have some awesome facilities and great brand of Football. They are just in the shitter right now.
I'm not a fan of them but I like their program.

MSU has come a long way at QB from the Tyson Lee, Wesley Carroll and...wait for it, Michael "I threw 6 INT in 1 game" Henig days

Right now that's where good players go to die. A&M is the school in Texas right now. 2005 was a long time ago.

Yeah but mullen did a job on Lee and an even bigger one on Relf. Looking back at this season, Relf would have been a better option than Russel. you would have won your bowl game and beat Ole Miss for sure.

Not when it counts IMO. He didn't throw 5 interceptions against michigan.

He re-wrote the record books at the QB position here. Also that was his worst game of the season.

2800 yards
24 TD to 10 interceptions
135 QB rating

He is the best pure passer we have ever had in history
sure those stats don't blow you away but with the really weak history we have had at QB it was nice having someone who can throw the ball downfield effectively and accurately

Not a State fan but he's looked good from what I've seen of him.

I'd think even State can do better than that. I thought he was below average against our defense but again it's not like Koenning had a good game plan against us IMO.

Anything our offense did last year is in spite of what plays Koenning called for us.

Craig Steltz should have given Henig half his NFL paycheck as gratitude.

Koenning didn't have a good game plan against anybody last year.

I don't see that at all. I'm not saying that in a good or bad way.
