Frank Martin on how USC got its biggest SEC win, in 7 years.

quote:

The Gamecocks improved to 12-7 and 2-4 in the Southeastern Conference, matching last year’s SEC win total (2-14). USC hadn’t won an SEC game by double digits since March 7, 2009, against Georgia (68-51). The Gamecocks hadn’t won an SEC game by 20-plus points since Feb. 11, 2006, against Mississippi State (83-61).

quote:

** USC won the rebounding battle 42-26, which Martin loved to see, along with USC holding Arkansas to 34.4 percent shooting.

Big win? The team you beat hasn't done anything since these players were in diapers.

One poster on an internet message board is making you dislike a real coach?

That's kind of sad.

Mississippi State is horrible. If that is your biggest win in 7 years then just give up.

Oh and USCe board.

1. We played Arkansas

2. It was our biggest win MARGINALLY.

3. 2010 Kentucky was easily our biggest win in the last few years

Yah, Gcockboi does start some terrible threads.

This one should have been on the GC board. In fairness, though, the term "biggest win" is in reference to the "biggest margin of victory" in 7 years; not the most important win.

Pretty good article, too -- but interesting only to Gamecock fans.

I didn't post it on the GCcock board because it doesn't get much traffic.

It's never going to get traffic if nobody ever posts on it because it doesn't get traffic.

It's a vicious cycle man. Break it.

True man. Should I invite my cockytalk friends to come post on the SEC Rant? We need more USC posters.

You should not. Most SC fans on here, myself included, have trickled over here from cockytalk over the years to get away from such circle-jerking threads.

Confusion is properly corrected:

quote:

1. We played Arkansas

2. It was our biggest win MARGINALLY.

3. 2010 Kentucky was easily our biggest win in the last few years

Then, many hours later:
