Les, Mullen, Pinkel, and Spurrier are paid too much. Less should be in the 2.75-3 million range. He should still be the second highest.

Honestly, as much as I despise him at times, I would be ok with Richt getting a bump to 3.5 or so. The guy is one of the winningest coaches in the SEC

Honest Answer: They are all way overpaid. With that said, I think Arky and UT overpaid for new coaches, UK might have as well. Stoops has never been a HC, so we really don't know exactly how that will work out yet. Richt is probably overall underpaid for what he has done at Georgia and deserves more than Beliema and Jones, and Pinkel is overpaid.

I thought Miles had a clause in his contract that made him the highest paid coach by $1. It that Miles or someone else?

He's doing really well in recruiting thus far. If that produces within the next couple seasons he may very well be underpaid considering the circumstances.

Sumlin and Freeze probably deserve raises though it was just their first year in the job. Bielema and Jones seem over paid as an initial salary. If that's the going rate then Richt should get a raise for consistency in spite of the lack of a NC.The rest seem about right relative to their results.

Saban - underpaid
Miles - slightly overpaid
Spurrier - slightly overpaid
Bielema - over paid
Jones - we'll see
Richt - about right
Pinkel - heavily overpaid
Mullen - overpaid
Muschamp - just right
Sumlin - just right
Malzahn - we'll see
Stoops - we'll see
Freeze - just right
Franklin - whatever it is, he's underpaid.

Miles just got a raise to $4.25 million annually.

Didn't Sumlin just get one as well?

why does everyone think BB is over paid? What would you pay to a guy who won a BCS conference 3 years in a row?
