You obviously know nothing about Ohio State's current roster.

It depends on who he goes up against. I like his chances against Miles and Richt but not so much against Saban.

I think I agree with this. However, the SEC plays a tougher conference schedule top to bottom and usually prevail in these kinds of games.

I think the SEC wins at least two more before anyone else...

Urban will start getting those Florida kids as well..

OSU has always gotten a few kids a year from FL. That's nothing new. He isn't well thought of down here in the HS coaching circles so I don't see him getting any more FL kids than usual.

The best thing about Ohio State is their females are pretty much whores and for a few weeks every spring, they come down this way and let you do unspeakable things to them and then they leave. Which is my favorite kind of Yankee....

I'm too old for college whores but I see your point. That could be the only good Yankee in existence to my knowledge.

The only teams who have given him trouble over the years are the ones with great defensive-minded head coaches like Tuberville and Saban.

He was 3-3 against Les Miles and that includes 2008-2009 when we had pretty awful teams.

They are about on par with notre dame.....They look good against the teams you play each week.

SO, you are saying LSU and Georgia stand an excellent chance of playing in the NC game this season? Cool, now I know why you sit on the end of the bench collecting splinters in your arse because that is where your head is.

Meyer's been broken. He ran away from competition. He will never win another championship.

Great deal of truth here.

I could see him winning the little 10, but nothing higher.

This year's tOSU team was no better and may have actually been worse than Notre Dame.

Um, how many days a year can this wounded warrior work now?

Yeah.

He's already been beat down. He can't keep up.

All three wins were pretty close though and happened to be against the three worse teams Meyer had at Florida. Also, the victories by Meyer over LSU were all by double digits.

This.

Also you name one place where Meyer built his staff from the ground up and I'll tell you when he will win a title.

I'll give you a hand, he'll never win National Title.

He has more talent at tOSU than people will give him credit for, and will likely have a 1 or 2 game schedule year in and year out to make it to the BCSNCG/playoffs. I think he wins one within the next 3 years

ETA: If Urban gets to 4 national titles while Saban still has 4, that will make for a good debate

The Big Ten's primary recruiting grounds contains ONE of the top ten recruiting states (two if you count Pennsylvania, which is only recruited heavily by three of their programs).

The SEC heavily recruits from five of the top ten recruiting states.

The Big Ten can't compete with that. We have better athletes. Hell, the Big XII and ACC have better athletes.

Lol

Urban is recruiting the frick out of the South. Successfully too.

He will win it this year I think, TBH.

They only need to play a couple tough regular season games then will be fresh for the NC game and Urban knows damn well how to beat SEC teams.

Isn't Urban going in dry this year on recruits from Georgia? I thought I remembered reading that, but could be wrong...

He'll either get murdered by Alabama in the NC game, or beat the shite out of LSU in a 2nd tier BCS bowl that the corn doggers say they don't care about.. We know how this ends.
