What's your take on sidewalk fans?

I'm conflicted on this. On the one hand if we took out all the sidewalk fans then our stadiums wouldn't be nearly as full as they are. On the other hand though it's tough to not just laugh at a clown like genro when they beat their chest about a school they never attended.

Anyone who uses this term is an egotistical douche. Anyone can be a fan of a school. There shouldn't be rules on it.

I think this sums it up. I'm pretty sure that most sidewalk fans can spell sidewalk as well.
