I like to reminisce about the 60s sometimes too, but then I snap out of it and realize JFF just scored another touchdown.

Last 5 years:

Arkansas - 3
Aggies - 1

Last 25 years:
Arkansas - 5
Aggies - 3

Last 35 years:
Arkansas - 12
Aggies - 6

We can keep going back but the results are similar

Past 4 seasons relevant enough?

Okay. The most recent games between our beloved schools.

Football: 58-10 (Ags)

Men's Basketball: 69-51 (Ags)

Women's Basketball (for good measure): 63-51 (Ags)

And of course the results of the most recent competition are depicted in the OP.

Sure, if you're concerned with analyzing the outcomes of games coached by Mike Sherman and Bobby Petrino.

But again, we prefer to stay in here and now--in reality.

You shut your hole. If I want to sit on my porch and enjoy a malt while listening to the Big Bopper that's my choice.

Yeah, and discussing how our football team did with JLS behind the helm is much more valid, right?

Well he was your coach for the most recent, relevant meeting.

I guess your definition of "relevant" is different than mine. If you think beating a team with a senile old man as the temporary coach, and who led our team to impressive losses over powerhouses such as Louisiana-Monroe and Rutgers is something to hang your hat on, then so be it. It just reminds me how desperate your football team is for relevance that you try to gloat over it despite being absolutely manhandled historically.

Certainly no less valid than the results engineered by a coach so incompetent that he managed to squander 5 double-digit second half leads, right?

Exactly. You act like we didn't have our own share of incompetent head coaching. If you wanna play that game, then none of your wins were relevant.

we're a better track school than aTm and it isn't even remotely close. The only program that would even be near our level in my opinion would be oregon.

Are you seriously trying to even allude to Sherman being anywhere near as awful as JLS?

Seriously?

JLS took a consensus preseason top-10 team with 2 Heisman-contenders, one of the best WRs in the conference, and an intact coaching staff and led us to a 4-8 record.

Let me repeat that.

He took a top-10 team and managed to lose to Lousiana Monroe.

At home.

You can complain about Sherman being a bad coach, but he kept you in the game. Under JLS we got absolutely manhandled be everyone.

Sherman >>>>>> JLS

So using that logic, Vanderbilt is a better football school than Michigan and so far, Ole Miss is a better basketball school than Kentucky.

Did Vanderbilt or Ole Miss win a national championship in their respective sport?

Winning back-to-back-to-back national championships in both men's and women's track and field seems pretty hard accomplish.

Run along, little piggies. Go run some baseball smack while you still can...just like in football...or basketball...or track and field...

Maybe Arkansas will spot A&M its first SEC win in baseball just like the other major sports. That would be mighty sportsmanlike of y'all.
