A good coach with a rather spotty record in big games.

Good coach but in a losing situation. He plays Alabama, Texas A&M, and LSU every year. He goes 1-2 at best against those teams every year.

7-5 in the Big 10 isn't exactly intimidation 101. They had talent, the results weren't there though.

I dont think we will have any idea about how good of an SEC coach he will be until year three. Complete offensive system overhaul. He did pretty well at Wisconsin who's facilities are avg by big 10 standards i believe.

This is like winning a bowl game because the NCAA strips it from someone else. You're still a loser. Twice in this scenario.

Shouldn't have been in the game, lost in the game.

Malzahn = Hal Mumme

Bielema = Les Miles

I'll take Leslie for the win.

Do people not realize he also coached last season. The most recent season. Against a heavily depleted Big 10.

Way above average coach in the Big 10...prob. B+, ran a clean program and a decent recruiter...B- to C+
Question is.....do the OK recruiting efforts get arkie the kind of O-line/D-line he needs to make his "style" work in the SEC.
My guess is the pigs are in for a string of .500 SEC West finishes.
