watched the Blue & Gold a little bit over the holidays, the Q is a nice place, although I really liked Hammons just fine.

Fun Fact about JQH. While it's a very nice building they actually ran out of money building it and it's not complete. Underneath one half of the the bleachers is an empty space with a crushed rock floor instead of the coaches offices and weight room that was supposed to be there.Cracks me up everytime I see it because no one knows this really nice building is actually a little bit ghetto.
Random wtf story for the night.

Pass, although the 2 bigs matchup is epic, Montverde should steamroll Hall.
Montverde is MaxPreps #1 HS team in the nation.

I heard when I was there that JQH is in pretty bad health. Is that true?

Yep that's the word sadly. I believe that he's living in that hotel he owns over by MSU's campus.

Evan James for Hall is fricking terrible.
Back to back turnovers, 2 layups, and fouled on one of them for an and 1.
Montverde 37-22 TO Hall.
Portis ends the 8-0 Montverde run with a nice jumpshot giving him 10 points for the game.

Montverde 60
LR Hall 45
FINAL
Portis 15 points (7-13 FG) 4 rebounds 1 assist
Johnson 15 points (7-11 FG) 8 rebounds
Portis is going to have to hit the weight room the day he gets on campus, Johnson has 25+ pounds on him and was able to dominate the glass, but 1 on 1 Portis was still able to take it to him offensively.
