Oh, I doubt I would hate it. Honestly I love snow, when I saw it coming down I started smiling.. It's just one of those few things that make me happy anymore.
Oh and I don't get the whole being unable to make it to work but they're ok getting home either. If I know it's going to be bad weather I always try to leave 30-45 minutes early.

I had a friend that did, if I'm thinking of the right department. She liked it.
Baton Rouge really isn't a horrible place to live. There are bad areas of town, but pretty much any city has bad areas. Traffic sucks, but if you work at LSU, try to live close to there. I like living here 1000x more than I like living in Gulfport or Alexandria.
