His brother was real and really died. frick Te'o. frick Notre Dame. And frick all of that bullshite how he only won awards because people were dick riding Notre Dame and Te'o's fake arse story. I believe he should just hand over the awards to the real winner.

It is what it is.

Anyone who watched college football the last two years knows Jarvis was the better defensive player and the biggest game-changer in the country.

I cringe when Georgia fans keep repeating this. Makes me think you're missing the point........

Which is........that dead brothers, or fake on-line e-girlfriends, etc, etc shouldn't even be a factor when evaluating a player's performance.

Kind of a double-standard to keep bringing up Jones's brother don't you think .......I mean, when you do, you're basically playing the same rotten game that those who anointed Manti Te'o are playing.

Anyway........ To me, it's pretty obvious that Jarvis Jones is a superior player and most likely a superior man than this hawaiian fraud. And I'm pretty sure their experiences in the coming draft and at the next level of play will right all the past wrongs. Onward............

I don't want to use his brother's death to propel him to being more decorated than any other LB in UGA history, but we all know Manti Te'o won most of his awards because of his sob story and they barely mentioned Jarvis' real story and how much better of a football player he was than Te'o. He solely won those awards because everyone was up Notre Dame's arse for barely beating teams that were terrible and riding Te'o's sob story without even making sure she was real or not.

If I was Jarvis, I wouldn't want any of those fricking awards.

This whole situation has proved that they're FRAUDULENT and meaningless anyway.........

You should follow Jarvis Jones's example and take the high road.

Jarvis is such a class act and never let the fame get to his head. Best damn Dawg I've ever witnessed.

I don't feel too bad for JJ & 'Tree. This whole Te'O thing has put a bunch more Benjamin's in their pocket come draft day. They could be the 1st two LB's off of the board...

It is, but is was a bigger part in Manti winning all those awards than the shite he did on the field. I guess I can find solace in knowing our best player doesn't invent girlfriends and use that for self-promotion.

Oh you mean like every football player in the country not named Manti Te'o? haha. So unless Te'o really comes away from this with his hands clean, how bad do you folks think his draft stock falls?

JJ was certainly more deserving of those awards, but Jarvis is more classy than to demand them. He'll get his pay day pretty soon, and I expect he'll work hard for his paycheck in the NFL and get the respect he deserves, while the domer will get his just deserts.

He'll get paid more and be more successful in the NFL than TE'O.

Yes Jarvis deserves alot of theses awards so does jadaveon Clowney , but both of these men will make it in the pros and get paid alot to do so te'o had to make up a bs story to pad his recognition. The real truth our boys were the best and Mel kiper said that IF mock draft is close there saying JMFJ to loins well that's enought dawgs on that team for me to be a fan

Real question: is Jarvis the best player of the Richt era in your opinions?

mm..nah. not even the best LB, imo. JJ is a freak for sure. But he definitely took some games off this season. Give me Pollack. Dude brought it every single play. Like a man possessed

Some of the dudes on here giving Jarvis mouth hugs aren't gonna agree

I'm going to be partial to Jarvis by default because he gave Florida hell two years in a row. My entire life has been one arse kicking after another at the hands of the gators so it's nice to see someone hit them in the mouth.

Hate the Dawgs to the N'th degree but these dudes would not try to suflex a player (I.e.Tree) and would simply put them down.
