Have y'all forgotten the quote where he is asked about his leader and he says UGA, there are no other schools.
He's coming to Athens. Just give up. Y'all are like lsu fans and RN. You're just setting yourself up for disappointment.

She wasn't a part of his life in HS either, unless she just moved from Ga to Ms

Nobody said he was a state lock. We are cautiously optimistic. Why does that anger your jimms so?

Because you should NOT be optimistic. Its a done deal, that ship has sailed, why even conjecture when its 100% not going to happen? There is nothing wrong with pointing that out. Worry about other recruits. Let this thread go. This guy is UGA all the way. I don't say that about many recruits, but this one is a done deal.

It's being reported elsewhere that his UGA offer is contingent on how his rehab is looking as NSD nears. Don't shoot the messenger -- just one of the things that we are hearing..

the guestion for UGA should be 'do you want him?'... a 300 pounder who blew his knee out two months ago?... I know the 3-4 scheme doesn't ask for a whole lotta penetration from the DT position, but come on... that's gotta give any school recruiting him (considering his a JUCO) pause.
Redshirting might not be a bad idea, either.

Let's paint this picture clear shall we..
1- "it's a done deal, yet he is visiting MSU with his mom.
2- Has stated that SHE has not been able to see him play in college and wants him close... MOM is in MS now!
As much as I try, I just can't seem to get a clear picture of him being a UGA lock. Has something to do with a serious visit with his mother who lives in MS and wants him close enough to be able to see play and at an SEC school...
HMMMMM

Devils advocate here, but when has that EVER happened under Mark Richt. He does not put out offers with contingencies, nor will he ever. Richt called Toby Johnson personally after the injury to make sure Toby knew that the full offer was still on the table.
Dawgnation article

I learned a long time ago, JUCO recruits are never a done deal no matter how much you think you are going to get them.

If this were legit, it would be coming from the UGA side, and it isn't. I'm just going to chalk this up to MSU speculation. Everything from our side is that Richt and co. have let him know that the offer is still on the table.

UGA thinks he'll recover, and if he does he can be an explosive player in the middle.

This as well. He could still take a redshirt, and UGA has enough depth to make this an option.

I follow a couple UGA recruiting boards and none of them have reported this.

He is going to miss st b/c his mom wants to see him play. Where was she at in pop-warner and high school ball?
IDK alot on this guys recruitment, but who cares what his mom wants, a lot of parents want their child to go here or there, but it doesn't alway work that way.
And she can watch him play on TV, most of UGA's games will be televised!
