Funny that you mock rankings -- when you are the most overrated team in the country in that poll.

- The Skip Bertman of this generation is now your AD -- and you basically pulled a Smoke Laval.

- You lost the heart and soul of your team. How many guys total? A bunch...

Correct.

Funny that you are still speaking in present tense about the past.

Please don't try and compare Skip Bertman to Ray Tanner. You have no idea how good of an AD he'll be. Chad Holbrook is capable of carrying on what Tanner built.

#1 recruiting class last year and great coaches and older guys ready to keep winning.

The very recent past. As in the last 3 years. It's still relevant.

It's the literal truth. I know -- I was there.

She is. The architectural stuff doesn't need to be done until June or July at the earliest.

Swayze is pretty nice for a $20 mil complete rebuild. For $5 mil in renovations, DNF equals that. What can we do with the purported $30 mil?

Chad Holbrook is considered to be the top assistant coach in the country. Everybody at USC knew once holbrook got here that he would be our head coach when Tanner decided to retire or become the AD.

Smooth transition to a coach who might be the best recruiter in College Baseball and will be a fantastic head coach.

Personally I'd be surprised if we aren't one of the top 8 seeds.

Are you trying to say Skip wasn't an excellent AD?

Right. Arguably the most successful SR/JR class in college baseball history has gone on -- but those highly rated freshmen that have proven nothing are ready to carry on with no drop off...

Said every Oregon St fan in 2008 -- when their 3x CWS, 2 time champion SR class left. And they even kept their coach...

We lose roth and price, but return 2/3 of our weekend rotation in Holmes and Montgomery. All american reliever Tyler Webb also returns

We lose 3 position players in Walker, Marzilli, and Matthews....that's it.

I don't think everybody realizes that we've just reloaded

That may be. But not everyone is Ray Tanner. 19 years as an assistant doesn't exactly inspire awe.

Our losses on offense scare me too, but our pitching will be light years better, especially out of the pen.

One of the guys on rivals calculates the hitting projections based on some formula, and normally by the end of the season most teams are pretty close to their projections. Ole Miss was something like 20% below what we were supposed to be in runs scored based on hits and times on base. By far the worst in the SEC. He tabulated the new projections and even with all the losses on offense, the new projection is higher than what we actually produced last year. So, using calculations, we are projected to score more than we did last season.

I wish I could link that, if someone has that thing saved it was actually a pretty interesting read. Here's to hoping we match or outhit our projection
