Ole Miss fans who think they will go into Austin and destroy Texas

Seeing a lot of people on this board, not just Ole Miss fans, who think they are going to go into Austin and manhandle the Longhorns. Just want to know why you all are coming to this conclusion after being on the receiving end of a beatdown at home in 2012. What will be different this time?

I think we have the confidence and tools to win, but I don't think it will be a blow out.

Let me educate you a bit. There are 3 places you will never have to worry about running in to an Ole Miss fan at.
1.Atlanta
2.Omaha

I will worry about Vandy first. I am an ole miss fan and as much as I would love to say we will be 9-4 or 10-3 I always know we are one season away from 2-10. But with that said I have confidence in Freeze.
And I don't think we will Blow Out Texas.
I think we have a great chance at taking them out though.

I have no problem with Ole Miss being confident. Freeze is the real deal. Right now, I think he might be the third best coach in the West, behind Saban and Sumlin. And yes, ahead of Les. I said right now, which means who I want leading my team next year. I'll pass on the stubborn moron without an offense.

The season definitely starts off tough for you guys. If you can make it out of Vandy and Texas you will have a great season.
But it also would not be a shocker to start off that schedule 2-5.

They were a dangerous team at the end of this past year. If OM can build off of that, then they will be a tough time for any team.

I see a lot of posts saying we can win the game, and should put up a better showing on both sides of the ball than we did last year.
I have not seen any posts similar to what you described above.

I prefer powerhouses like Rice, Sam Houston State, SMU, and Arkansas to start the year myself.

Yeah. Better than playing 7 cupcakes and getting false hope on a season to believe.
For the Texas game...we may win, we may not. Texas can be a hard place to play. But Ole Miss is known to go into bigger stadiums and surprise. I believe our defense is better, so if we do lose, I don't see us getting blown out like last time.

frick that. I prefer to give up on football season early, makes the hunting/football decisions easier
