You can't seriously say with a straight face that you saw this coming.
That having been said, whatever the coaching staff did between the Houston Baptist game and the Arkansas game is clearly working.
I don't expect a win against Florida, but the NIT certainly isn't out of the question now.

It's one win. A very good win, but just one win. It doesnt immediately undo the 18 months of dogshit play, player defections and questionable recruiting. He has to do more than this, especially given that UK just isnt very good this year.

14-18 season (4-14 conference) + 3 embarrassing non-conference losses the following season (including a humiliating loss to a SWAC school at home), AVERAGING more non-conference home games to shite teams than Gillispie and Turgeon COMBINED =/= "one fricking game"

Ignore the Arkansas game. Ignore the complete turn around in play. Ignore that all that shite. Let's just focus on the shitty year where EVERYBODY, including the coach, had some sort of health issue.

Who is basing their negative opinion of him on one game?
We went from six straight tournament appearences to four conference wins last year. We have had four scholorship players defect and one decommitment in a season and a half. We have lost SIX TIMES as the Vegas favorite (an awful stat in basketball) including two nobodies in OOC play and a HORRIBLE OU team. And that's not even factoring in the fact that Kennedy has a degenerative condition that is being used against him in recruiting.
Those basing ANY opinion on one game are misguided. Those doing so for the sake of rubbing others noses in it are both misguided and small.

Losing players is squarely on Kennedy's shoulders. Only one of our defects was going to happen regardless of what he did.
I know the Branch family, and much of my opinion of Kennedy has to do with what I've been told via first hand accounts. Kennedy handled that situation as porry as one possibly could have. The culmination was a "meeting" in which Branch expressed concern about the direction of the offense and he told Branch to pipe down and tow the line or he was gone.
