Which do you think is better? Clearly Bama fans think 2011 Bama is better.

95 Nebraksa would beat 2011 Bama by 3 TDs

What are you smoking? And why does this need another thread?
You said they would rush for 500 yards on the 2011 defense. Why don't you make the thread about THAT?
I think it would be a pretty good matchup.

If Ga southern can run for 290 , I'm ire the greatest option team of all time could get 200 more.

Nobody thinks any of the Alabama title teams are better than '95 Nebraska. However, it's ridiculous if you don't think they can't compete with the 1994 and 1997 Nebraska teams. They were far from being heads and shoulders above the competition. Heck, most people thought Michigan was the better team in 1997 until the bowl season.

95 Nebraska and i don't even think it would be close.

If you could translate Nebraska's relative dominance over CFB in 1995 to 2011, then it would be a hell of a game.
Nebraska's linemen were considerably smaller than those of today.

Nebraska teams played a vastly easier schedule. I would wager big bucks that if you substituted our players into the nebraska schedule, we'd beat the teams they played in a very similar fashion. idk.

This would be the thread:

And one would be hard pressed to say the conversation is about Bama beating Nebraska, but more about your assertion they'd roll up 500 rushing yards on bama.
One would NOT be hard pressed to say you've entered "making shite up" territory.

95 Nebraska would wreck every bcs winner. THEY AVERAGED 350 YARDS A GAME RUSHING. they would put up 500 yard rushing against Bama's 2011 defense , which I think is the goat.
Brought to you by rickdaddy, fond of calling everyone else ignorant.
Interesting strategy, starting a completely new thread, and changing the context entirely.

Grant Wistrom actually said that in an article recently when he was asked to compare the two teams. He basically said that today's college players are much bigger, faster, and stronger than college players were in the mid '90s.

If Auburn of 2012 played a bunch of literal highschool teams... what do you think the outcome would be?
It's all about the competition.
I do NOT think the Nebraska players were physically more dominant OR that better coached than our teams.

Nebraska played 4 Top 10 teams that year, closest game was 23 points.

basically, i think our teams would beat those nebraska teams more often than not... but i wouldn't be shocked either way.
what i can tell everyone here for sure, is that the games would -certainly- be competitive. and i for one, think we'd beat them more often than they'd beat us in a series.
