I'm heading down to the hotel lobby to get my car so I can drive to the game when I was told by the concierge that they had lost my car keys. $T&@##!! You go to be FU*@#* kidding. Its 150$ round trip cab to the stadium and they lose my keys?? After complaining with no results to the management a nice Notre Dame couple heard my plight and offered me and my son a ride (there AND back). And we took them up on it. That's the classiest thing that I've witnessed from another school's fans in 40yrs of going to CFB games. They are doing something right up there. I am for one am very impressed and grateful. They wouldn't take any money from us but I will find a way pay that back one day. (by the way the hotel found my keys of course the next day).

As much as people would have you believe otherwise, there are some good people in this world. Sound like you met some genuine people that day.

The hotel should have provided free transportation and a free dinner.

IDGAF what you hear on this board, most opposing fan bases will treat you very well, specifically in the SEC.

Had great times at LSU, Bama, Ole Miss, Miss State, Georgia, and several bowl games. Only time i've ever had fans be really rude/hateful was after Florida beat us in the SECC game in 2006. I didn't take it personal as we were all slammed drunk too.

common for valet to "rent" out cars for hookers to have sex in during big events. Wipe down the inside and shampoo the seats if they are not leather.....

If that happened in Baton Rouge I would have let you get in then drove you around and dropped you off in Scotlandville.

You are stating at a hotel that provides that service but whining about cab fare? Something doesn't look right here...

Speaking of classy Notre Dame folks, I'm told Notre Dame made some locker room renovations for next season:

This is true. Tenn. is the only place where we were treated poorly.

In 2007 I was dropping my ex GF off at her place on Saturday morning before the LSU game, and while I was stopped on my way back, this LSU dude asked me for a ride, and he only knew the name of where he was going. So, I knew where the location of the place that he was trying to go was, and I took him there. Didnt really have to go out of my way too much, but he ended up giving me 20 bucks.

In 2007 a cab driver in Tuscaloosa tried to charge me, two friends, and a couple (gumps) 45 dollars each to go from the strip to Motel Six (I was a broke college student). We all laughed, told him to frick off, and he left with maybe 5 or 6 from each of us.
