I'm thinking Texas A&M - Alabama in College Station is a lock.

Didn't Bama get two CBS primetime games in 2011? I can see LSU-Bama and Bama-A&M both getting primetime slots on CBS next season.

I have a feeling we wont be getting three CBS games again.

IDK...would they really have their primetime game in late Sept?

Not sure really. Seems they used to have Tennessee-Florida in prime time every now and then and that is always early September.

Yeah, Alabama's games vs Florida and LSU were both primetime.
This year, though, I don't see that happening. Alabama and Texas A&M will probably be a primetime game, but unless LSU surprises us all and rolls into Bryant-Denny undefeated, it won't be a night game
ETA: And for anyone asking about the date, UF-Bama was on October 1st, 2011. Granted, Bama/A&M is a little earlier, but they're not afraid to use it early

i wont be surprised to get it for the bama game nor will i be surprised if we dont. i could see there being enough hype around it that CBS just says frick it and decides to do the prime time in september

I could be wrong, just seems like CBS has had at least two Tennessee-Florida prime-time games.

Remember, if College Gameday chooses to go to this game (which they probably will), they WILL make it a night game.

When Florida came to College Station for College Gameday, it was a 2:30 game...

Cbs doesnt have any affiliation w/gameday. Thus, if they come or not doesnt mean it will be a night game.

Networks are fighting each other to hire OP for his magical foresight.

I think SC actually got the CBS Prime Time game as well as ESPN Game Day on the same weekend a couple of times over the years, including one time last year, I just cannot remember which game it was.

UGA-LSU and UGA-USCe have potential for some prime time

It was us vs Bama in 2010.
and us vs UF this year
We won't get it for UGA this year because CBS usually hasn't started it's coverage then.

That's right, thanks.
And you're right - CBS has not started their season with us and Georgia in at least ten years or more. However, they could opt to pick it up once again this year given the new TV contract that is coming before the start of next season.
CBS will have a ton of games to choose from next season. I fully expect them to do some double-headers next year as they did this past season.
