That's his prerogative. If he wants to put all of his eggs into the NFL basket he should be free to do so. There are plenty of non-athletes who graduate with worthless degrees.

Eddie Lacy isn't the moron most everyone on this board who thinks they know all about him would have us believe.
He was moved all around after Hurricane Katrina. His mother let him live with his old football coach and his grades began to slide. Ended up moving in with a white family, a kind of Michael Oher situation, and took some summer classes and got into Bama. He was also 2010 SEC Freshman Honor Roll.

ETA: I don't know why Bama fans are taking this personal , he was educated in LA so of he is dumb , it's La fault. Also every team has dumb athletes on it that otherwise wouldn't be in college.

What a touching story..almost sounds similiar to more than half of the Gulf Coast population that were forced out of their homes and forced to relocate--like me

We wanted him but didn't think he'd qualify and there were some off the field legal issues that freaked everyone out.

Not only this, we had Ford Committed for an entire year and Ford was thought to he the better back. Didn't Ford break the LA rushing record.

This. All major schools have some morons on the team. Hell, I would say half LSUs squad would never be there if it weren't for football. Who cares? They aren't there for the schooling anyways.

I think most Alabama fans are taking offense to the insinuation that we cheated to get him onto campus. Why would we do that when we had Trent Richardson committed to us in the same class?
