Will the 2012 Crimson Tide join the '73 and '78 Tide as far as the title being tainted? If Ohio State wasn't on probation the title game would have been OSU and ND. Ohio State is the only remaining major undefeated team.

Kansas was 12-1 in 2007, LSU 12-2. Tainted.

There are several polls and math systems that don't take NCAA sanctions into account, the AP being the most notable. So far, none of them have picked tOSU.

You pick those two as being "tainted"?

So many other immediately jump out ahead of those two.

If you honestly think that Ohio St could have competed on Bama's level last night, I have some ocean front property to sell you.

Doesn't matter. Bama wouldn't have even been in the game last night.

But they were in the game.......At least notre dame has the balls to score points against Alabama in the big game while your guy choked like he did against clemson.

So it's not about which team is best then? THAT would have made for a tainted title...
