so the game will start off with a lot of hype and then be boring as shite for 4 years ending with no real resolution and only setting the stage for a far more devastating. albeit entertaining, title game later on?

IMO Bama will roll. ND isn't that tough overall. They'll play tough initially but lack the depth and will get beat up by the end, IMO.
