I noticed that this was what, the 3rd Louisiana kid to decommit from Arkansas since you got your new coach. Do you thinks its wise to be cutting off these Louisiana ties?

The best part about it is that the kids are from schools and areas that produce a lot of great talent. That stops now for Arkansas because coaches talk and I know Blanchards coach is telling every coach he can about Bielema.

Patterson, Baton Rouge, and Amite done with Arkansas ...

Really? Now that's funny.
I guess we will just have to see on how this works out.

While I don't agree with them dropping Blanchard and Skinner in the slightest, it's not like it's going to be the end of our program if Louisiana high school coaches are pissed at us. We've signed a grand total of 6 kids from the state of Louisiana in the past 5 years and only 7 in the past 10 years. It's not like it's a pipeline for us in any way, shape or form.

Yea, we get sooooooo many players from there anyway. Maybe 1 or 2 a year and most never work out.

Blanchard and Johnson should have never been allowed to commit anyway, dumbass John L Smith.

Skinner is favoring Houston now, that should tell you something.

Those areas produce a very large amount of talent.

Skinner holds an LSU offer.

Skinner doesn't have a spot.

They do but it's not like we have really been getting any of it. 7 kids from Louisiana have signed with Arkansas in 10 years. We haven't exactly been killing it down there.

I was hoping this new staff would make Louisiana a priority but I am betting they know what this will do to their reputation down there and won't really recruit it much.

I get your point, but removing offers whenever you have plenty of space seems counter-productive. Why would you push good players out of the door whenever you need all the good will you can because you haven't been able to recruit the area well.

Right now he doesn't. Wouldn't be surprised if spots open up considering we have a bunch of questionable qualifiers.

So basically you all are slow playing him just like we are. His offer wasn't pulled he just isn't receiving the love he'd like.
