You are right he shouldn't have showed up at all, we would be so much better off without #29. I mean offenses never game plan around him or anything, a complete waste of a scholly that a walk on could have used

And beat Florida and Missouri by himself. He still forced a turnover in that Bama game. He also played well today.

He's gets full credit for the UFAG game but name another BIG GAME where he was the difference maker this year?USC?Bama?Today?

I'm not the one saying the guy is the MVP of the team. Our defense stepped up ONE TIME this season in a big game. Rather pathetic for a team loaded with NFL talent and Jarvis is the leader of this group.

Missouri? Really? Did they even win a conference game this year?

Yeah you're right all he did was lead the nation in FF, TFL, finish top five in sacks, 30+ QB pressures. Not impressive.

Still waiting on an answer to the question? DId you even read the post. Once again, name another BIG GAME where the defense stepped up?

Bama?USC?Nebraska?...Let's not forget that stellar performance vs UT.

Jarvis is a pass rusher. He showed up in the 4th Qtr because Nebraska started throwing the ball. The best way to stop a pass rusher is to run right at him. Just like Nebraska did, and just like Bama did. Saban said that's how you stop Jarvis. Saban said Jarvis was the reason they could not throw the ball at all, and they started running right at wherever he was lined up.

We wouldn't have won the Mizzou or Florida games without him, that's a pretty big damn I impact when one player can take 2 losses off your schedule. As for Bama, he had a sack and a forced fumble early and still made hustle plays running guys down throughout the game. In case you didn't notice we didn't exactly have many big games on our schedule this year, a pretty shitty schedule so nobody can list any big games retard. As for USC, nobody and I mean NOBODY showed up for that pathetic excuse of a ball game.

Gurley is the MVP of the team. No running game = no passing game = three and outs = worn out defense = JJ doesn't matter.

sort of, we didn't have a reliable running game last year but JJ and the defense still did great and JJ put up some great numbers. That being said TG was an absolute monster that helped us not be one dimensional and I can't wait to see what he will be next year.

WTF? Ranked 78th in run defense. Gave up an average of 27 pts per game to ranked opponents and ranked 27th overall in defense.

Ok,I'm challenging you on FACTS.

Find any coach that would describe the 78th ranked rushing defense as great.

Really? So next year we should just run right at Jadevon Clowney, Right? He's a pass rusher right?

You'd think a guy as heralded as JJ would be able to actually do both.

Nice deflection...so we should run right at Clowney next year? Yes or No...pretty simple

Does Bama play SC next year? Do you think they're gonna run right at Clowney if they do?

Not a deflection. I already told you that Saban was my source. And he said that you stop a pass rusher by running right at them. It shut JJ down. Is JJ a 0ne-dimensional OLB, or does he just suck as a OLB? Or is Saban correct? And yes, if UGA's OL can actually run block like Bama did against us, then yes,....run right at him all day long. Whatever Saban says. I'll take his advice over anyone on this board.

Now, I am not saying it will work, but I'll try what Saban says to do until it does not work anymore.
