Let's face it, with Miles as our headcoach our loses over the last 5 seasons look like this:

2012 - 3
2011 - 1
2010 - 2
2009 - 4
2008 - 5

Average loses per season = 3

No matter how you spin it or how you do the math. This is the reality we have in Baton Rouge.

Is this worth $5 million per year + $2 million or so for assistants?

Last night was embarrassing for our team and the SEC.

And who would you get to replace him? You're the hardest fanbase to please in college football. No one established wants to come to BR.

For what we are paying Miles and his staff we should be able to get just about anyone but we will first have to fire our AD.

Anyone who would fall for Miles' pathetic scheme to milk more money out of us by leaking lies about considering a move to Arkansas, needs to be run out of town. Not only giving him a raise but extended him out to 5 more years! Seriously ?

It's time to cut our loses and start over!

I remember the last two times an SEC school cut loose one of the most successful coaches in their history. Since that time, both of those programs have gone through a dentist, a jackass, and a retard.

The OC should be fired this morning. Chief is the best coach on the field by a long shot and the defense is bad arse but you can't ask any defense to stay on the field for 100 plays.

Les needs to hire a fricking OC and stay out of his fricking way. There is no excuse for this team losing with all of the talent on the sidelines.

This LSU team is way more talented that any team in the country in my opinion.

We may have the honor of hardest fan base to please. Fortunately, we've had 3-5 coaches that did just that. There will be another after Saban hopfully in my lifetime. I know there are Bama fans that are still alive from the 20's and 30's when Wallace Wade was there starting our tradition. So, they got to see all 3 of our greatest (CWW, CPB and now CNS). Thomas and Stallings were fill-ins to pacify until the next great one. I want one more great one before I go.

No! This goes much deeper than that. Look at the original posts. This has been going much longer than our OC has been here. I say start with the AD and go down the line from there.

I see Miles somewhat analogous to Chizik. Miles pretty much lucked into a NC in '07 with Saban's players has an outstanding winning percentage due to Chavis' defense. Without Chavis, Miles would be a pretty average coach. What is amazing about LSU, is for all their talent, they really haven't had an outstanding QB for many years.and

We could do better, certainly. But we could also do a lot worse. Odds are that we would probably do worse, but should we take that chance? I don't see any sure fire guys out there who would come to LSU and succeed.

I agree somewhat, but I think because of his longevity he's more like Mark Richt. I don't think Chizik would have ever had better than a 7-5 season again. He was just a terrible head coach. Mark Richt, on the other hand, hasn't won a NC but he does have decent teams most every year, he just can't seem to get over the hump. Just like Miles since 2008.

Of course Les needs to fire the Offensive staff, hire a pro, and get out of the way.

We've been saying that since the end of the 2007 season.

Les ain't doing shite. It'll be the same old crap next year.

I'm done. I am not wasting my Saturdays during hunting season on this any more.

Richt and Chizik are bad comparisons. Les is Mack Brown/Bob Stoops.
