Wasn't y'all's band banned from playing this?
Reason I ask is I could have sworn I heard them play it in the Grove before the game.
Great arrangement IMO, and hate to see traditions changed.

Your ears do not deceive you. They are just as openly racist as they were 60 years ago. The players are just too stupid to see it.

It's banned from the Stadium, but not the Grove. The dumbasses have to stop screaming TSWRA at the Library in order for us to get it back.

It's a shitty censored version that cuts out a part so there is no chance for fans to yell "The south will rise again."

Yes it was banned in stadium and grove...now they play the beginning of fdwl and transition to the battle hymn of the republic

It isn't the original one. It is some stupid version...that they think is cute. It puts "I Saw the Light" into the song. It is horrible.

This ^^^ & for those that don't know and assume it's racist it's actually from the song ~ An American Trilogy which is a tribute to American Healing in which it combines "Dixie", "All My Trials" & "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" to illustrate the new found Unity of our Union.
In Nope Shape or Form is it racists.
