It's laughable that message board "experts" equate a coach’s ability to them “hearing” about him and I would be willing to bet not one person on this board knew who Nick Saban was when he was Assistant Coach from 1977-1990 for Kent State, Syracuse, West Virginia, Ohio State, Navy, Michigan State and the Houston Oilers respectively. Rest assured that McDonald and Partridge are damn good coaches, as are most assistants in the SEC, regardless of whether TD football “experts” have ever heard of them or not.
Now think about this for a minute and let it soak in. Anonymous message board posters who probably never even played beyond Pop Warner and certainly never coached at the college level, critique people who are actually being paid thousands and thousands of dollars to coach. Anybody but the biggest dolt would see the absurdity in that.
