Anyone seen any predictions for number of fans from each school headed to Miami?

Or what the split of attendance at the game will be? Usually I see some sort of breakdown based on Ticket Sales, Stub Hub Sales, travel agent reports, etc, but haven't seen anything.

I assume Bama will have a slight advantage here.

1. We travel extremely well
2. Lots of reservations that were made last year
3. Closer from Bama than South Bend

If we could take the Super dome from LSU we should own this venue!

I sort of thought that, but then I saw that Notre Dame had 130,000 requests for tickets to their Athletic Office. I read Alabama had 40,000, which was a record. Miami really isn't that bad of a drive, but Notre Dame people seem to travel well too, and they are desperate for recaptured glory.

If they have more fans, it is because they are from better means. If we do, it is because we sold our trailers and beat our wives.

I am admittedly WASPy, but I've met a lot of people who have gone to a lot of colleges from all over the country, and I've only met one person who actually went to Notre Dame. He went to the law school there.

I haven't seen any credible information about the expected split Bella, but the thing about Notre Dame is they have dedicated fans that are solely fans because they're catholic. They have fans that aren't from anywhere near Indiana that'll buy a ticket and go to that game. I anticipate there to be a little bit more green in the stands than Crimson.

ND will probably have a few thousand more in the stadium but will totally dominate us in south beach. They haven't been to the title game in 20+ years and they have a huge fanbase.
