Well, all time;

Texas has won 76 times.

aggy has won 37 times.

The game has ended in a tie 5 times.

It isn't that hard to comprehend

Indeed, when the extent of your cognitive prowess alleviates the burden of recognizing nuance and context -- well, logic, really -- it is in fact not hard to comprehend.

From 1940-1974 Texas went 31-3-1 against A&M. Add in a few wins early in the series when it was basically club teams and they never played in College Station and that is the difference in the series. In the 40's all the Aggies went off to war and when they returned college football had changed. There were no scholly limits so Texas would have 3 times the number of kids on scholarship as A&M many years and A&M was still a small, all male military school.

In 1954 the Corps first became optional for students but very few were Non Corps until the mid 60's when women (outside of daughters of faculty and a few other rare exceptions) were allowed. By the early 70's A&M was finally becoming a large co-ed school and by 1975 the limits on scholarships were finally gone. That is why A&M uses that year as a reference point, the playing field was finally somewhat even. 1975 is also used because that is longer than most people who read message boards have been alive. Thus the point is that Texas and A&M have been equal in the series in modern memory.

Of course none of this matters to Arky fans that desperately want to troll Aggies.

Arky is 14-7 against A&M since 75 though.

It's not an awful history. #17 in all time wins. It's considered underachieving, not bad.

A&M is a senior military college, there are only 5 others: VMI the Citadel, VPI, Norwich, and NGCU. Contract cadets have their school payed for and they are guaranteed an officer commission. They have the same legal status as DOD academy cadets and are subject to court marshall.

Aggy has 9 more wins than Arkansas, all time, while you played in the SWC for 3 more seasons than we did then were in the Big12 for 16 years while we were in the SEC.

Real impressive.

yet A&M has a higher all time SOS factor

Wait I thought this was about being a terrible program. shut down? Oh it's about not being a real military college. Shot down again? Oh it's how Arky isn't far behind in all time wins? Congrats.

More wins
More Conf. Champs
More national championships
More Heismans
Deal with it.
