If Alabama does lose this game there will not be an SEC team in the top 5 preseason next year. It will be ND, STanford, Oregon, USC and Oklahoma.
Hell we may not have a team in the top ten.

Seriously,had Holtz not been so biased over the years,I'd have enjoyed his commentary. However it always leads back to ND being the best even when they just got blown out,or even SC. He'll never give another team credit as long as he is breathing

I used to tolerate Holtz's biased commentary when ND sucked because it was always somewhat tongue in cheek. Now that Notre Dame is good again, it's unbearable because I feel like he is ducking his job as an analysist. Can't tell if he really believes it or is just being a homer. The schtick came around and bit him in the arse.

A friend ran across Mark May in an airport mid season & asked him if Holztz's performance was just an act, i.e. stirring up shite. May just smiled, shook his head & said no comment. From several articles I've read, Holtz actually believes what he's saying & it is not an act by any means.
