We've played each other a number of times...use to play when we were all in the Southern Conf., then we left to start the ACC and they were left behind. Then we both were independents for a couple of decades, and we played them about a dozen times in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Last time we played was 1991, our last year before joining the SEC. We have a 11-7-2 all-time series record versus them...

good lord, VT's mascot is a Turkey, not a Cock. Also, we're 11-6-2 against them, we haven't played in many years.
