This. I was there, going nuts with everyone else.

I was there and really drunk, so it was kind of a blur. The youtube video reinforces how awesome I remembered it to be

Probably when he went all playstation on the bulldawgz in Snow Bowl Part Deux, specifically the Woody Dantzler-esque scramble up the gut where he sliced and diced then did the Superman.

Good game to be drunk for. Manziel runs for 72 late in the game to put A&M up by 15 and you figure it's all over. NOPE!

The thing I remember thinking during that play was "Holy crap. That's our QB!" and realizing... really for the first time... what we had in that guy.

Before other LSU fans jump on this: Yeah, yeah, yeah. You later won with a better team and if Mett had been only average you would have blown us out. Shut up, already.

I really didn't want to drink at the game, but the Aggies made me start drinking by the 4th quarter. Thankfully they sold booze at Independence Bowl beyond the 3rd quarter and well past midnight (the game didn't end until almost 1am). I grew to appreciate Louisiana's lax beer and liquor laws.

Thankfully you had time to sober up on the 2 mile walk to your car afterwards.

Edit: You live in Galveston and went to that game? I'm impressed. I'm only 3 hours away.

I hate to admit it, but I watched the 4th quarter from home

The parking at the stadium wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be. Getting inside the stadium through the gates is a different story. It seemed very disorganized and the long lines were inexcusable for a venue that regularly hosts football games. It definitely made one appreciate the gameday experience at Kyle Field.

And yes, I'm from Galveston. It's just a 5 hour drive to Shreveport, which is a shorter road trip than any other SEC road venue for A&M. I was prepared to go to Shreveport twice this year, as the second trip would have been for the Independence Bowl. Thankfully, we exceeded our expectations this year.

As your avatar includes an LSU logo I think that's allowed. Particularly with how late that game went and the horrible parking. You did miss a good finish, though

I dunno what "everyone" says but I say it sucked The "2 miles" was not an exaggeration. Then again, by your own admission you were drunk, so you may have been out there near me.

I parked in the parking lot of a closed restaurant about four blocks from the stadium. No one at the lot was taking money, which was surprising. To my astonishment, the car was still there when the game was over. 10 minutes later, I was back in downtown Shreveport. Too bad my luck ran out the moment I stepped inside the casino.

Hard to pick just one. I liked his Heisman speech. Pure class. I loved seeing that flowing pride in his parents eyes during that speech. Great kid in many ways. Definitely my fave college qb right now. TAMU deserves him. I also, second the scooby pick. Sure hope he spent his earned capital that nite.
