Division record should determine division championships

If the SEC wanted to be fair and continue the "so called" traditional games, they could make one simple rule change. Division record determines division championships instead of overall SEC record.
But if that happened, certain teams such as Georgia and Bama would not have found the road to the SEC Championship game so easy this year.
Georgia missed the four strongest teams in the SEC West: Bama, LSU, Texas A&M, and Mississippi St., while Bama missed the only strong teams in the SEC East: Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.
When will the SEC administrators make the rules fair for all schools?
Why do the powers that be in the SEC think this is fair? Are they bias towards certain schools?
The answer has to be yes; they are bias, and they want to keep the rules unfair. Fairness is obviously not a high priority in the SEC's front office, which is located in Birmingham, Alabama.

If they did this there would have been some really goofy results, like 1993 LSU at 5-6 going to the SECCG.

Go enjoy your family. It is Christmas man.

I can agree with this.. to an extent.
It seems that divisional record is completely arbitrary.
But OP, you WILL catch shite from Bama fans calling you butthurt for crying about having to play Florida every year.
ETA: Exhibit A: the response after this post

UGA still would've won the East this year so go suck your dad's cock some more.

REC says Merry Christmas.

But then why play any cross division games? You could schedule pansy teams from the pac12 or big12 or fat slow teams from the big10.
Oh this is LSU fan crying about playing Florida. A team Bama has blown out the last three times they played.
Maybe LSU is simply no good? And you sure do cry a lot.

Tie-breakers? Just a thought.

LSU fans will bitch about Alabama even on Christmas

Ole Miss >>> than MS State. And Georgia blew them out.
LSU barely survived against them. Here's you a beer. now in it.

Gotta love the transitive property..
So, educate me; with your logic, how do you explain the following scenario?
LSU barely squeaks by Auburn
Auburn gets blown out by both A&M and Bama
LSU beats A&M but loses a close one to Bama
Bama loses to A&M

Cross-division games should only be used as tie-breakers.

But I do like Cross Divisional games counting. Even when it works against Bama.

Actually, I would be in favor of this tweak. Determine the SEC West champs with the following criteria, in order:
1. Divisional record
2. Overall conference record
3. Head to head
...
It makes sense. Why have an unequal conference schedule determining who represents your division, when it should first break down by how well you did against other teams in your own division?

I like it.. except H2H should be #1. But otherwise, the other factors work for me.
