This is great, my dog loves the snow. She prowls like a tiger and then pounces on falling snowflakes like she's catching them. Too cute.

My guess it will come in as rain, then turn to sleet and then snow...

gonna leave Bella Vista around noon, should be okay right?

I'm not worried about snow, just as long as there is no ice or sleet

One of the (many) things I miss about being up in NWA is the snowfall. We don't get much in the DFW area so I'm always super jelly of my friends who are still up there.

Drive shouldn't be too bad. Might want to think about leaving an hour or two earlier. Hate for you to drive down that hill at Roaring River with any snow or ice on it.

I dunno. If you go by the weather channel, they say it starts as freezing rain and sleet. Others say only snow.

I know going that direction in winter weather scares me. If I were you I would just follow the radar closely and leave early if you need to.

So serious question , I am back home for Christmas (Memphis). I have to be at work Thursday at 8am. Should I leave Tuesday mid afternoon or early Wednesday?Work being in NWA obviously.

I'd get out of Memphis before noon, to be safe..Those tall bridges on 540 will freeze up fast.

it all depends when it gets here of course, but if you're worried about traveling in the worst of it... might want to be back in NWA by 3pm.

I wouldnt wait for the roads to freeze over, there will inevitably be someone that causes an accident that you may have to work around. Hopefully semi traffic will be light they seem to always be the ones that cant get up icy hills.
