That's very true. The dynamic will be interesting though in that our two best players - Phil Pressey and Laurence Bowers - spent their formative years playing the Mike Anderson system and learning the college game from him, for better or worse. I think that will make it a very mixed bag of a game against the Mike Anderson press, with Phil and Bowers probably relishing it and instinctively knowing EXACTLY what to do at each moment...but meanwhile guys like Oriahki and Earnest Ross and Webster-Chan etc looking completely lost and flustered and, dare I say, not ready for a lot of the passes and plays that Flip will try to make at lightning speed.
I think its definitely a road game Mizzou could well lose. But I'm leaving it to the Hogs to do enough good things this year to not be an RPI killer for us if they do so.

I know. We actually had a pretty darn loooong history in the non-conference with Arky through the Norm Stewart era. Played them on a yearly basis from 1989 to 2000 or so and played them a lot prior to that in the 60s and 70s. Up until 1994 Norm Stewart was actually one of the only coaches in the land with a winning record in Fayetteville. It took a sharp turn in '94, not surprisingly coinciding with Arky's dream season that year, and Nolan started owning Norm pretty hard for the last bit of Norm Stewart's career. But I'm very, very familiar with the environment down there and it can be no fun.
