...who has historically not been anything notable in college football. You (for whatever reason...this is a hypothetical) can have any of the following coaches:

Steve Spurrier
Les Miles
Will Muschamp
Mark Richt

Which one do you want? And why?

Spurrier or Miles. All four are good, but I assume if I'm an unknown program in Idaho that I need to build a program. Both have experience with it. Edge to Spurrier.

Spurrier (wish he was 30 years younger!)

His fun offensive style would spark player and fan interest.

Trick question.

None of those coaches could win at Iowa so it doesn't matter.

Spurrier, if he can win at Duke and Carolina, he can win at this program in Idaho.

The rest are dependent on their programs, so they would fail to make the potato farmers proud.

Yeah, and Bobby Bowden made FSU something other than a women's teachers college, and Smellenburger saved then built Miami's program.

Muschamp. Young & on the rise. Miles and Spurrier are old and Richt chokes.

Proven ability to take an under performing team and significantly improve them...

1: Spurrier
2: Richt

Muschamp, time will tell. Miles, good coach but came into an already succesful program at LSU. Hell, you could say the same about Muschamp too.

All would be good choices for, say, Idaho.
