I've had the 247 30 day trial for almost a month now, and just signed up for the 7 day Rivals trial today to see how good it was before getting my dad a subscription for christmas. That being said
In my opinion I like the design/feel of 247 a lot more as a whole, but I think Hubbs and his staff do a better job at covering what's going on at UT better then Wes & Ryan on 247..
I'm at a crossroads on who to sign up with for the long haul. Opinions?

Use my dad's account on VolQuest and I have an account on 247. I personally find myself using VolQuest more, even though there's some mouthbreathers on the GQ.

I have never been on either one, but if you must have one, I would go with volquest because they have been out there longer, and have more relationships with the people at UT.

When in doubt go VQ. They are committed and are truly respected among the University of Tennessee. They work hard and have a great relationship with the athletic department. I also appreciate them not throwing out bold predictions that never come true. They won't guide you to believe rumors that are floating around. They only report first hand info and they will tell you if it's second hand.
I would say that Brent,Rob,Paul,Austin, and John do a great job and report fairly and without bias. Whenever there is a sniff of bias involved the GQ hounds them and they usually take care of it quick.
These past years I know it's been hard to report through the embarrassment and humiliation but they have done it with professionalism and I appreciate that.
The only downfall of Volquest is that they let the GQ run rampant with retards allowed to post almost anything they like with hardly any repercussion and it's definitely cost them a few subscribers to say the least.
But as a whole I think VQ is well worth 10 bucks a month.
Sorry I can't give you much insight to 247 but I do enjoy vq and their dedication to professional journalism when it comes to our college athletes, coaches, and institution.

I would pay for neither. It's a waste of money when the info is widely available for free elsewhere with just as many idiots.
(And yes, I see Involnerable already said that, and you didn't like it. But it's true.)

My only problem with this is that anything posted on VQ gets pasted over to VN in about 2 minutes or less. It is not nearly what it was when Brent had an "in" when Fulmer was there. But hey, it's your cash, and to each his own.

I won't disagree with you on that. No matter what site you're with...it's general knowledge within minutes between the Vols websites.
But I like to hear from Hubbs and company the stuff that's not headlines. Like the write-ups and evaluations of the players, interviews, projections, etc..
