The big 6 was obviously due to the fact of there being 12 teams and the top half were the big 6.
We now have 14... Should we have a big 7 for the top half?

Not this again! The Big6 wasn't just some abstract number that was thrown out there. There is a Big6 because those 6 teams have won every(legitimate) football championship in the SEC since the 60s. Until someone unseats them and wins one, there will never be a "big 7".
