I like Gmac, but you can count me as one that still doubts he will ever make it as a NFL starter. He is smart and can be a viable 2nd or 3rd stringer, but I don't see starter potential. If he doesn't learn to slide or avoid taking on hits he won't make it through the game this Sunday. I say all that in hopes he proves me an idiot and starts for the next 10 years.

McElroy is a proven winner. His arm strength looked sub-par his rookie year, but I think just about anybody could play and look like a star after what Sanchez did last night.

If he started last night they would still be in the playoff hunt and fatass would have saved his job.

I like GMac, but Brady could not win with that group of garbage. Sanchez is terrible, but he does not block. Of course neither does the majority of his line. I will be starting the Chargers Defense this week!

I can't believe Gmac was not activated for the Titans game. If he had played after Sanchez thru his third interception, he would have lead them to his second win and they would still be in the playoff hunt.

Instead, Ryan choses to go with 6 receivers. What a joke, 6 receivers and no one to throw them the football.

Gmac 's arm strength has improved. He has more velocity on his throws. I think he will do well. He makes $465,000 and Sanchez makes 8 Million per year.

This is the reason they didn't want to start McElroy. They didn't want to admit they spent too much money on Sanchez.

I'm rooting for McElroy of course, but to put it mildly I'm skeptical.

48 career sacks, 0 passes thrown away!

I may actually watch an NFL game.

I just think the guy has a shot at making it, although I thought the same about Barker

The jets as a team really like McElroy. When he came in the game a few weeks ago even the announcers said this jets team is really playing behind McElroy. He said they actually look motivated as opposed to Sanchez. They did! There was a marked difference. I just hope if he has one or two bad series they don't pull him for Sanchez. Let him play the whole game. They got nothing to lose. I just don't want them to pull him too fast.
