Let's see, the Columbians, PRs and Cubans moved there largely before 1970, thus, they were there when UF was losing at a good clip to UGA. The Ticas have left as CR is much nicer and safer... Ironically, UF was rather "pale faced" itself during this period. UF becamse diverse when all the other schools became diverse.... sans the schools West of Bama... that part is not relevant... the part that is and one no Gator fan can deny is that they are essentially a Yankee school in a Southern Conference. We know this not by the skin tones, but by the jean shorts, sweet arse gold chains, and the "you guys"...

The ones I feel sorry for the most are the Old School Gators. The ones who talk like people from GA. The price of winning was far too great for most of them. frick, they may as well have gone to Wisconson at this point.

Basketball? Yankee Sport, you should be better

Academics- UF#17 and UGA #21 ranked Public Schools

Baseball- UGA CWS wins 1 - UF -0

Track- No idea

Tennis- Do you even have a fricking clue? UGA is the SEC and NCAA Royalty when it comes to Tennis. 6 or so National Titles and dozens of SEC Championships.

Golf- 26 SEC Champinships and 2 NCs

Lacrosse? Yankee said waht?

And your point is? You don't have a shot at a MNC by going to a Jan 2 Bowl. Have fun being the 3rd or 4th best team in the SEC and 2 back-to-back losses to UGA.

I'll have to give it to ya. UF does have a very good basketball program. I wish the UGA Men's team had one. I bet the UGA Women's basketball team could beat the UGA Men's basketball team.
