Donvan Roberts is transferring to UCO in Edmond. Bielema is crushing it so far while the other new hires are losing commits, we're trimming the roster and filling thin spots immediately.

QB Tyler Cogswell was encouraged to seek other opportunities. He was a Petrino project and I hope he gets a shot at somehwere good. We're beefing up the OL, LB, RB, and secondary with massaging the commit list and flipping 4*'s.

Auburn has trimmed Lemond Johnson, Jarrad Davis and Jahnere Irvin Sills. We expect to trin Arshad Davis.

You are about to lose a safety to us and you had very few holding onto anyways. So tell mre again how BB is doing any better by doing the same as everyone else?

Why are you making room for a player going to bama?

His commit is very soft and the staff is making a big push for him. His official is on January 18th and by that time the staff will be put together. Even some of your own brethren expect him to flip, however I'm not getting my hopes up until the ink dries on NSD. If he does committ I expect it will be a Joe Adams type committ where we don't know until NSD.

You think just because Auburn offered Khari that he is going to flip?

Basically we've got 10 spots left and those will all go to the Top 10 5* studs that will all flip on NSD.

Arkansas better hire a good assistant with Texas ties, or BB's tenure will be short. He hired a guy with FL ties, and I can't help but wonder wtf he was thinking.

There are still 5 openings on the staff. He has hired his DC from Wisconsin, the best recruiter on the Wisconsin staff, one of the best OC's available and one of the top OL coaches in the country. I think he is doing fine so far.

However for Texas ties, I know that Bobby Kennedy interviewed for the WR coaches job. He would definitely qualify as someone with Texas ties.

How has Arkansas done anything more than anyone else? UT has let a bunch of people go the new staff doesn't like and is going after a bunch of higher rated guys they do. So has Auburn. Nothing has happened to anyone in recruiting that separates any of the new hires from the others.

We'll see what happens in January.

We're just excited. Bielema has only hired 4 coaches so far, but 3 of them are top notch recruiters like we haven't seen at Arkansas since the Frank Broyles days probably.

Pittman has us in the drivers seat for a All-American OL and a good LB and another huge OT already.

Partridge has us in the running for a 5-star RB after one day on the job.

Pittman and Partridge are two of the best recruiters in the nation. Wisky fans melted down because he recruited most of their class.

I thought Bielema was against poaching other teams' commitments?

We really won't know which new staff hit a recruiting homerun til signing day. BUT from a Hog fan's standpoint, it seems we are suddenly in on more 4-5 star kids than we have been in a long time. So forgive our excitement. It may be a tad premature but I'm liking the BB hire more and more every day.
