Alternate uniform question

I know we all get tired of these threads about alternate uni's but after seeing the Tennessee helmet I really think it's about time AU did a little something. I've seen the blue helmets an I like them I think one game in 20 some odd years would be ok. I think recruits and players like it alike. Honestly I just don't see the harm to our tradition as long as we don't go Oregon or Georgia of 2011 I'm fine. Blue helmets, blue pants do it AU.

start making too many changes you'll have to call them outfits not uniforms.

I agree I'd eater have the auburn tigers tramp stamp off the back and just do a uniform though colleges everywhere do it and not to oregons degree. I just think it's 2012 it's kinda time to live in the moment for a sec.

Sorry for the google link but the link to aubtron isn't working the first one that pops up has a list of uni's I think could be made closer to what we could use.

I wouldn't mind seeing a blue helmet or perhaps an orange face guard, but I say don't do anything anymore extreme than that. With that said though, I think it might be cool to see the tiger eyes on the side of the helmet.

Auburn started sucking after the uniform was recently changed (stripes, tramp stamp).
Auburn sucked when Bowden changed the uniforms (number shadows).
The orange jerseys under Barfield also led to suckage.

Go back to the 2010 version of unis. And don't ever change them. Why fix what isn't broken?

I am as "traditional" when it comes to our uniform as anyone. I hate the stupid tramp stamp on the arse of the pants.
On the other hand a nicely designed all navy uniform to be used in conjunction with a "All Auburn All Navy" day would be fun for everybody to participate in.
I'd never want it to be a permanent thing though.

We don't need to change our uniform for every game. I just would like a cool sleek uniform for one game a year. A mixup/pump up game that would be fun
