I can't help but feel this way too....

Here's the catch with being a Bama fan under Saban. You keep feeling like "SURELY at some point I'll spot a downtrend... something that shows some regression. A let down game."

And it never happens. It takes WILD unpredictability / dual threat QB's AND it takes a hell of a lot of balls bouncing the right way for a team to beat us.

Notre Dame can only HOPE to have the ball bounce their way a few times. I really just don't know how to believe we aren't the better team.

I keep trying to convince myself Kelly is a "great" coach or w/e... idk, it's just HARD to bet against us, man.

So insane... One thing I'm really glad about, is that I have really been able to -completely- appreciate and enjoy this ride. Every week a new team comes up with a formidable attack or defense or whatever.. and every week, I grill my brats and drink beer and tell my brother in law or whoever I'm talking to on the phone/text how at ease I am. I just found my way to not freak out and get nervous.

I can sit back, and enjoy watching the game as it's meant to be enjoyed. (yes, i'll get spirited during the big games for the fun of it, but i never truly allow myself to doubt lately unless it's 4th quarter and we're down or something really tough to argue) Because, even if we find a way to lose... we're still bad asses. NO one wants to play us. And that's so enjoyable.

Man y'all, I know it's late and on a damn Thursday night during a slow arse time of college football... but ROLL F'KING TIDE. SO GLAD I've been able to feel this in my life.
