When did you hear this?

I know him (haven't seen him in months) and he always seemed a little out of place at AU. Surprised he transferred though

I always thought he would break through just on pure athletic ability. Guys ont he team said that him and Prosch are the two freak athletes on the team when it comes to strength.

At least Kozan and Jordan Diamond will be apt replacements at Guard

Great day. He could've started. Another wasted high 4 star.

Makes Kaliel Rodgers more of a target for sure with the lack of depth at OG now

A top 25 recruit in the nation, and he couldn't get in the field in 2 years.

Only Gene Chizik.

Who really knows? The kid could've had a shitty work ethic. I don't put it past any of our players. It could be just as much their fault as anybody else's.

His work ethic was there but the blocking schemes never clicked for him so he would do great on one play in practice then the next would be completely lost. The playing time he did have at Auburn he did pretty well though but you couldn't risk starting him.

Also he redshirted (expected) then got seiously injured to start the year. Not anyone's fault on that

If it was just him, I would agree. But the Chiz had a track record of taking talent, and running it into the ground.

Maybe, but's it's REALLY hard to put the blame on the players after these four years.

This was some of the worst player development/coaching I've ever seen by a coaching staff considering the amount of top-flight talent they brought in, and it's exactly why I don't get excited to hear us hire a bunch of recruiters anymore.

I guess I am just making the point that in this situation, it was out of Chizik's hands. Redshirting an OLineman then sitting a kid out who is in a walking boot is the right call.

For guys like L. Owens, Craig Sanders, J Bonomolo, Jamar Travis, R. Gayden, D Benton, T Reed, J Whitaker, E Florence, R Therezie

I completely agree. frick Chizik

LOL I'll take Brannigan's side when I say the "talent" on our roster has a lot more problems than the coaching staff. They magnified it ten-fold but I'm willing to put equal blame on the players.

L. Owens-legit
Craig Sanders-swole but is he really that "talented"?
J Bonomolo-quitter
Jamar Travis- meh
R. Gayden- quit football
D Benton- suspensions, etc.
T Reed- refuses to put in work in the weight room
J Whitaker- legit
E Florence- lazy
R Therezie- don't know.. same kid bitching about wanting to play RB for a little b/c he couldn't handle Willie Martinez's coaching style?
