History: Every time Saban rumors are sustained, there is something to it . . .

I'm not talking about message board junk like Saban to Texas or Saban to Penn St. I am talking about the kind of stuff that is going on now - the sustained rumors of Saban to the NFL from more than one source as it being a serious possibility. His agent is Sexton so he might be pushing for even more money. But, these rumors seem to be coming from the NFL.

In 2002, it was coming from Chicago. He almost went but turned them down at the last minute. In 2004, it was coming from Miami. He went. In 2006, it was coming from Alabama and everyone laughed it off as ridiculous. He ends at Alabama after denying he would go there and shocks everyone.

I am just saying that based on his history and where the rumors are coming from, I think there is something to this. He might decide against it, but I think he is entertaining the notion for some reason.

Could be. If he leaves, I'll thank him for the best 6 years of Bama football in my lifetime.

It's LSU's fault. If they would have given him more of a challenge, maybe he would stay.

Him going to the Browns would be no problem to me.

If he ended up at the Saints it would be a kick in the balls.

Fan forever. Lombardi, Bear, Auerbach, Wooden - Saban. One of GOAT. "If you love them, set them free", that said - he is not going anywhere. Sorry.
