Yeah we certainly can. We probably won't, but things are different around here.

Of course they can. I think the biggest thing for them is how they handle success.

Texas A&M brought the Big 12 flavor to the SEC with their high powered offense. I don't think the defenses were ready for it this year. I think the defenses will be ready next season.

Better question guys, will LSU ever win a MNC again? They only won one because they had Saban's players. They were lucky to get to go with two losses. Les Miles has a reputation to play down to bad teams. This will be a problem when he loses now that the west is so dominate

I get that, Fleur; but we're not losing our entire oline, nor will we have a crap oline.

All indications are that LSU is on the decline. If you think attrition and injuries were bad this year, wait till next season. Les had a good run but all good things come to an end.
All LSU fans will be in denial about this, but the downward trend is obvious and has just started. All the indicators are there.

You said bad teams. Are you trying to say that Alabama was a bad team that LSU played down to in 2011?

Clearly Les can't compete with Nick Saban.

Absolutely tamu can win the west. What they need to happen:

No injuries to manziel
Ol doesnt drop off too much (tamu fans, there will be a drop off. Top 10 tackles don't grow on trees.
Moore doesnt go pro and the def is at least as good as 2012. Tall order given losses in front 7.
Someone other than evans emerges at wr. Theyre losing 3 senior starters.

Those things happen, given the favorable schedule, then theyll have a legit shot.

SEC Rant on Texas A&M:

-Going in to 1st SEC Season

* That Offense wont work in the SEC
* That Little QB will get killed in game x,y,z
* A&M doesnt have the size in the trenches to compete.
* A&M doesnt have the defense to win games.
* This is big boy football...no way A&M can hang.

-Going In to year 2 of SEC

* No way that Offense will work for a SECOND time in the SEC.

* That little QB will get killed against team x,y,z...

* Ok, A&M's talent in the trenches wont be back next year...

* A&M doesnt have the defense and they lose players on that side of the ball.

* This is the SEC, you cant win AGAIN just because you did in the prior year.

Anyone else notice how similar this old song and dance are???

Everyone automatically assumes that BOTH our offensive tackles will declare early, even though that's not what we're hearing.

Everyone Assumes that A&M is the ONLY football program in the conference to lose seniors and elite players graduation and the NFL???

Everyone seems to think we dont have the ability to recruit new players and has no Idea what our depth looks like, as if the right to recruit has been made exclusive to LSU and Bama.

Not saying we WILL win it but to assume we have no chance is ridiculous.

have you seen the type of WR haul we are bringing in this year? losing swope sucks but we have no problem there. matthews is likely to come back and he will be moved to LT if joeckel leaves. and we have a 4* RT that will take his place. no one is arguing about the drop off but its highly over exaggerated. as we stand moore is 50-50. thats going to be the deciding factor. we have a legit chance (barring injuries) if we can get at least 2 out of our 3 1st rounders to come back. wed have a very good chance if all 3 come back though (which is highly unlikely)

Yes - I will actually be surprised if they don't.

They might not be able to beat Alabama next year. The Crimson Tide should be better than they were this year next year.
